Valor Flight invited by Vets with Vettes for a fundraiser at Bridge Street Station

The Huntsville based Vets with Vettes and Corvette Owners Club are hosting the 7th Annual Charity Car Show. Valor Flight has been invited to showcase our mission and will have a tent setup from 8:00 am-2:00 pm to talk to people about our mission:  To fly Tennessee Valley Korean War Veterans to Washington, DC for a day of remembrance and gratitude.

What:  Valor Flight will have a table at the Huntsville based Vets With Vettes and Corvette Owners Club 7th Annual Charity Car Show. Proceeds will benefit local charities such as Wounded Warriors, Floyd Fann Veterans Home, Toys for Tots, and Valor Flight.

When: April 16, 2011, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Where: South parking area at the Bridge Street Town Centre.

The car show is open to all makes of cars, trucks and motorcycles. Trophies will be awarded for Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Motor, Best Wheels, Mayors Choice, and sponsors plaques.

Viewers will see the Roush Fenway UPS #6 and Carl Edwards #99 Aflac NASCAR simulator.

WTAK 106.1 and a local TV station will interview auto club representatives about the show; the club will mention Valor Flight in the charities line-up.

TODAY, March 10th - Valor Flight Inc. presents CHOSIN at Monaco Pictures, an award-winning documentary of an epic battle for the fight of freedom

On June 25th 1950, those who wanted to take freedom attacked those who cherished it. During the winter of 1950, 15,000 troops were surrounded and trapped by 120,000 enemy soldiers in the frozen mountains of North Korea. Refusing surrender, the men fought 78 miles to freedom and saved the lives of 98,000 civilian refugees. The documentary are testimonials by the survivors of the Chosin Reservoir Campaign, and after 60 years of silence, they will take you on an emotional and heart-pounding journey through one of the most savage battles in American history.

When: TODAY!! Thursday, March 10th with two showings: 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Seats are first come, first serve.

Valor Flight Inc. announces Valor Flight – The Flight of The Not Forgotten

On 9/11 past, an outstanding veteran mission was completed by Honor Flight Tennessee Valley, successfully flying some 1300 WWII veterans to Washington, DC to see their memorial. With that last flight, their mission ended. A new mission is now at hand in the Valley called, Valor Flight. Valor Flight, Inc. is a non-profit organization led by some of the previous board members of Honor Flight Tennessee Valley, and committed to carry forward the experience to the next generation of Korean War veterans living in the Tennessee Valley.

Call Sign: Valor One – The Flight of The Not Forgotten

Mission: To fly Tennessee Valley Korean War veterans who served in Korea, to Washington DC (at no cost to them) to their memorial and others for a day of remembrance and gratitude for their service to our Nation and courage in the fight for Freedom. Target Flight Date is Fall 2011.

Stefan Celuch, 49, is the President of Valor Flight, Inc and is joined by former Honor Flight leadership John Ofenloch, acting as Officer & Treasurer, and Herbert Wagenheim, as Officer & Secretary. Roger McWhorter, of Elite Travel, joins Valor Flight as Vice President and Director of Travel & Logistics.
